I made corn chowder from the recipe at All Recipes

Grandmas Corn Chowder

I tweaked it a little bit, and it was delicious! Here's my changes:

I used the whole rasher of bacon, the recipe called for 1/2 cup, ha! I cut it into 1/2" slices and sauté to just before crispy.

The recipe says to drain, but there wasn't very much grease so I just added an onion, diced. I tried to chop the vegetables into corn sized pieces.

I also cooked the potatoes in the microwave, cut them up and added to the bacon-onions.

I didn't have any half and half, so I used 3 or 4 cups of milk (no water).

One can of corn and two cans of creamed corn and simmered it.

Salt and Pepper and boy, super yummy!
