Coffee

There’s something special about that first cup of coffee on the farm. Before the day gets busy, the smell of coffee brewing is such a nice welcome in the kitchen. I love sitting quietly with a warm mug in my hands, listening to the garden wake up, the animals calling from the barn, and the sounds of another country morning beginning.

Coffee is my little pause before feeding animals and filling waters, tending the garden, checking fences, and tackling whatever surprise the farm has planned for me. Somehow, coffee just tastes better with a little fresh goats milk and a beautiful farm day ahead.
